This half term, Year 4 have been learning about the Ancient Romans in our History lessons as well as writing a diary entry in role as Iliona, a Roman girl, in our English lessons. To fully immerse the children in Roman history, the children were excited about our Roman Day. They dressed up and it was really pleasing to see the effort that they made. In fact Karl's Grandad made him a shield and sword for this occasion. Thank you to all the parents for your help and support in this experience.
In school, they spent the day taking part in multiple activities including food tasting, mosaic making, learning Roman numerals and researching about gladiators. Arsalaan in Italy class even created a new for himself today- Lucius Kicolius Luconus!
