This week was Deaf awareness week and we wanted like to raise awareness of the small adjustments that we need to make on a daily basis for anyone that may suffer from hearing loss or deafness. The theme for our Deaf awareness celebration is 'Do's and Don'ts for Deaf awareness'. There are lots of different video's that can be shared with your children this week from National Children's deaf society that can be accessed here.
Miss Wallace led a Deaf awareness assembly in both KS1 and 2 on Wednesday the 3rd of May. During the assemblies the children learned to sign the song 'This is me' from The greatest Showman. In celebration assembly they showed us how they got on here!
