To launch our Great Fire of London topic, year 2 experienced baking bread. We learnt that the fire started in Thomas Farriner’s bakery in 1666.
We loved learning about how bread is made and were shocked at how long the whole process takes. The children really enjoyed tasting the bread that they made.
