In Germany class we have been learning how to subtract 4 digit numbers and are getting ready to use our skills to exchange as part of column method subtraction.
To prepare we spent the afternoon using different manipulatives to learn how to exchange thousands, hundreds and tens.
Germany class have also been set a quest to complete on Mathletics to help with this tricky concept.
