Dear Parents and Carers,
Summer School Holiday Meal Scheme
The government has extended the COVID Local Support Grant. The School Holiday Meal Scheme will provide £90
(£15 per week) per child to cover the 6 week summer break to families who are eligible and apply. If you wish to check your eligibility, use the School Holiday Meal link. The applications close at 5:00 tomorrow.
Pupil Premium Funding
Pupil Premium is a government scheme designed to support children from lower income families in order to provide them with the best possible start to their education.
Children who are eligible can have free school lunches (worth over £400 per year) and may receive financial assistance from the school for uniform, trips, breakfast club and other school clubs which require a payment to join.
This is possible because the school receives additional funding for every eligible child whose parents successfully register. All information concerning Pupil Premium children is treated completely confidentially and does not affect any other benefits currently being claimed. To check your eligibility or to apply, please use the Pupil Premium link.
Y3 parents in September
Please remember, school lunches must be paid for via Squid. The government funding of free school lunches finishes when children leave Y2. However, Pupil Premium children will continue to receive free meals.
