Dear Parents and Carers,
This afternoon, the children were introduced to their new teacher and support staff in their new classroom for next
year. Year 5 did not spend time in their new classroom as the new Year 6 block is not quite ready. However, I did give them a tour of the new build which they were very excited to see. Their new classrooms will look fantastic once finished!
We will arrange for children in Egypt to meet Miss Morgaine and for the children in New Zealand to meet Miss Gibson tomorrow afternoon when they all return back to school following the bubble closure. In addition, we will make plans for the children in Jamaica to meet Miss Miklaucich once she returns to school (she was unwell today).
As you will see, there are a number of staff changes in September. At the end of this term, we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Shah, Mrs Wagner, Miss Bloom, Miss Reid, Miss Doherty, Miss Bush and Mrs Rand. We wish them every success in their new roles and would like to thank them for everything they have done for our school, especially over the last 18 months which has been a particularly challenging time.
In September, we are pleased to welcome Miss Adams, Miss Johnson, Miss Holmes, Mrs Gladman, Miss Ward and
Miss Marris to our teaching team. They met with their new class this afternoon and are very much looking forward to working with your children next year.
Miss Murray will be on maternity leave in September and we wish her well with her exciting family news.
Yours sincerely,
Mr D Denchfield
