Dear Parent/Carers,

Abacus runs Breakfast and After School Clubs in the local area. Abacus has been running since 2004 and all our settings are graded Outstanding by Ofsted. We are excited to be opening a Breakfast Club from the beginning of the Autumn term just for the children of Mead School.

Times

We will be open from 7.30am until the start of the school day, Monday to Friday term time only. The Breakfast Club will be held in the same hall from September and all children will need to be brought to the door of the Breakfast Club so we can sign your child in.

Activities

We will be providing a variety of tabletop games, tabletop air hockey, pool, and football. Craft activities will be on offer, and bubbles permitting we will have darts and a xbox.

Food options

At Abacus, your children will be offered cereals, toast, and a daily special. This may be beans or spaghetti on toast, bagels, croissants, or yoghurt with fruit and honey, all dietary requirements will be considered.

Pupil Premium Funding

Parents who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding can have their Breakfast Club paid for by the School. Please contact Kayley at Abacus on 07903708764 to discuss this in confidence. We will then liaise with the school to make the necessary arrangements.

Prices

The cost per session will be £3.50. We do not take cash; fees need to be paid online from your bank account to ours. You need to pay for your session prior to attending or pay at the beginning of the week for the days you require. If you pay for a session and then do not attend the next day this will stay on your account as a credit.

Account number 15176968 sort code 309344 you will need to put your child’s name and (MEA) in the reference.

Paperwork/enrolment

The existing Breakfast Club have forms onsite for you to fill in and the School office will have copies as well. If you fill them in and return them to the office, we will be in School on Tuesday 20th July to collect them. We will also have forms on our first morning that you can fill in before dropping off your child.

Care plans/medication

If your child has a care plan in School or has any medication such as asthma pump or epipen, we need to speak with you prior to your child starting, please call Kayley on 07903708764
