Year 3 enjoyed the cover of the trees today and the cool breeze on occasion. They had been waiting to learn the skill of fire lighting and although it was a bit hot we had a go. The children worked hard to create a spark using the fire steels and many of them started their own mini fire. Others used the various ideas in this activities box - we had creations with mud, hats, tree hugging, floating boats and much more.
