Year 3 - Forest School - Week 6
Today, Year 3 embraced everything musical in the forest. We experimented with different ways to make sounds using nature, these included tapping, scraping and shaking. We established a woodland orchestra and took turns being the conductor. The conductor used hand signals to indicate who should play and when and also to change the dynamics. The children were shown how to make woodland wind chimes and incorporated these into their own bands. We finished off by reflecting on our learning as we found space to forest bathe.
