Weekly Newsletter 18/06/21 - Important Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

Sports Afternoon
Due to the extension of COVID-19 restrictions and after taking advice from the Local Authority and speaking with Headteachers from the local Harold Hill primary schools, parents will not be permitted to attend Sports Afternoons this term. We will use the blog and Facebook to share the sporting events. I really do hope that next year we can have a full calendar of Sports Afternoon events that our whole school community can attend.

Open Evening
Again, due to the extension of COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be holding our end of term Open Evening. Teachers will call parents the week the reports are issued to answer any questions or queries you may have.

Parking
Following my reminder last week, can I thank those parents who have taken the time to be more considerate with their parking. Sadly, not everyone has followed my request. Havering have a dedicated section on their website where any member of the public can report a parking offence. Whilst I would not want anyone from our school community to be issued with a fine, the welfare and safety of our children, parents and local residents is paramount.

Chromebooks
Please return all Chromebooks back to the school on either a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Thank you.

PE equipment from home
Please do not allow the children to bring into school any PE equipment (balls, skipping ropes etc). The school will provide equipment for the children at break and lunchtime. Thank you.

Attendance
This week’s attendance is 95% which is just below our target. Let’s hope for a slightly better week next week!
