In our topic lessons we have been learning about South America. This week the focus was on the Amazon rainforest and the effects of deforestation.
For homework, the pupils were asked to create a 3D model of the rainforest, labelling the different layers. I was really impressed with their results. Here are Havin, Hamit and Anya’s efforts. (If you look closely, you can see that Havin has used food to create hers- broccoli for trees, raspberries for flowers and smarties for stepping stones).
Each received a WOW! Award for their models.
