Dear Parents,

Diary Dates
Monday 7th May-Bank Holiday-School closed
Tuesday 8th May -In the afternoon we have a theatre company in school performing to our KS1 pupils.
Wednesday 9th May-Representatives from Drapers Academy in school meeting with pupils attending Draper’s in September. In the afternoon a theatre company will be in school performing to our KS2 pupils and leading workshops for year 5 children. Some year 3 pupils will be attending a Forest Schools session in the afternoon.
Thursday 10th May-Year 5 ‘Cycling with Phil’ session
Friday 11th May -Our Nursery pupils are visiting Barleylands. During the afternoon year 1 Spinebreakers will be visiting Harold Hill Library.


Royal Wedding Celebrations - Friday 18th May
As you are all aware Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting married on Saturday 19th May at Windsor Castle. We are celebrating in school by wearing wedding headwear for the day. Veils, top hats, tiaras, bowler hats & fascinators the bigger and brighter the better! It doesn't matter if they are home made or handed down from grandparents, we are looking forward to seeing all the pupils Royal wedding ready.

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 7th May is Week 1 on the Havering Catering Services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.20.

Attendance Update
Well done to Argentina class who had the highest attendance in Y5&6 and overall at 98.3% . Scotland had the highest attendance in LKS2 and at 95.2% and Palau had the highest attendance in KS1 at 96%. Well done to them!. The overall attendance was disappointing at only 94%- which is below our target!.
