A visitor comes to Mead......

Did you see our visitor?

Today reception pupils were treated to a real fright when a moving, roaring T Rex came to assembly! As part of their dinosaur topic this half term the children were able to become paleontologists for the day: unearthing fossils, learning about dinosaurs and meeting a real T Rex called Millie and Jack the baby velociraptor.

It was a great day had by all, Millie commented "that was so much fun and the allosaurus skull was huge".

Nursery children and some of KS1 got to enjoy the experience and had fun meeting Millie aswell.

Did you know....? A chicken is a cousin of T-Rex.
