BARNADO’S BIG TODDLE
On Friday 16th June ALL nursery children (morning and
afternoon) are invited for a morning of fun and games with an activity/obstacle
course for our part in the Barnardo’s Big Toddle. All parents and carers (nans,
granddads, aunts and uncles) are invited to join the children for this fun
event. This will be the nursery’s sports day.
The toddle will start at 10.00am and finish around 11.00am. You are welcome to bring a picnic to eat in the
nursery garden after the Toddle. The session will finish completely at 12.30pm.
Please bring your child at 9.30am to nursery
ready to start the toddle together at 10.00am.
This year’s Toddle theme is COLOURS. The children can dress
up in bright colours but please remember sensible shoes must be worn for the
obstacle course. Children do not necessarily have to be in full costume, wings,
headbands, face paint is fine! Adults are also welcome to dress up as staff
will be too!
This has always been a fun day for everyone and is a great
opportunity for both parents and children of the morning and afternoon sessions
to meet before the children move into their reception classes together.
Please be
aware your child will need to be accompanied by a family member that day for
them to attend nursery. If you and your child are unable to attend please let
us know.
