Dear Parents,
On behalf of Mead I would like to thank everyone who attended the Race Night last Friday. The event was the first organised by the LPFA and I’m sure those who attended will agree it was well organised and everyone seemed to be having a good time. Clearly for the evening to run smoothly a lot of work had to be done behind the scenes and I would like to personally thank members of the LFPA and governors for the time and effort they put in to ensure the event was successful. The final figure has yet to be confirmed but I understand they raised around £4000.
I have been asked by staff to remind parents/carers that it is important all pupils items of clothing are named. The children are taking sweatshirts & cardigans off now it is getting warmer and a lot of them don't have names in and we are spending time trying to locate them and check other childrens to make sure they have the correct clothes.
