Just kidding around!

Today some representatives from the school council went to Wellgate Farm to visit some very special animals.
The two little kids and their half sister Paige will be calling Mead School home after the summer holidays.
The children got to spend a lot of time with the baby boys, who are only three weeks old, their sister and two other goats. The children enjoyed looking after the babies for the morning and can't wait for their stables to be built at school. 'I want to call them Star and Stripe' commented Amba, 'But I think they should be called Nibble and Chew' said Jan. Their names will be decided at a later date.
Learning to muck out the stable.

Getting the straw bedding from the barn.

Bottle feeding, just like real babies.

I think we have worn them out! Time for a nap.

Look out for more information about the animals that will be arriving at the Mead farm in the future.
