Ssssssssssssssuper animals.

Ever held a snake? What about a giant stick insect or a Madagascan Millipede? Year 1 have!

"It was so cool!"
"The snake was so soft I can't believe it."
"I didn't think I would be brave enough to hold the animals, but I was!"

These were just some of the comments from the year 1 children when visited by Georgie from Wild Science on Thursday 7th July 2016.

The children were introduced to a range of different species. They learnt exciting facts about them which linked to our current science topic. They also got to hold and stroke the different animals, which they thoroughly enjoyed.
It was a fantastic morning!
