Weekly Newsletter - Important Information
Friday 24th January 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week, I had the pleasure of attending the O2 Young Voices concert with our Year 4, 5, and 6 children. It was an absolute joy to witness their enthusiasm and enjoyment during this fantastic event. Well done to all the children involved, and a huge thank you to the staff who helped organise and support the trip!
We also had our RWI Development Day, during which our trainer highlighted the incredible progress the children are making in phonics and reading across the school. Well done to all the staff and pupils for their hard work and dedication.
Bereavement Support
In light of the sad news we have shared this week, we have arranged for additional bereavement support to be available in school. If you believe your child would benefit from this support, please speak to your child’s class teacher, and we will ensure they receive the help they need during this difficult time.
Reminder: School Start Time
Please remember that the school day now starts at 8:40am, and all children should be in class by 8:45am. This time is vital as it prepares the children for their learning and sets a positive tone for the day.
Parents Evening
Next week you will receive your invite to parent's evening through your School’s Ping account. The message will give you the date and times available for your child/rens year group. Please note that some year groups will be held on different times/ days. In order to book a time all you need to do is select the time slot you wish for your child and this will automatically reserve your space. If you are having trouble with this please speak to your child’s class teacher.
CAP Coffee Morning
Before Christmas, I shared information about our partnership with CAP (Christians Against Poverty). On 11th February at 9:00am, we will host a Parent Coffee Morning to provide more information about the incredible work CAP does and how they can support you, your friends, or family members.
Drinks and refreshments will be available and Mrs. Kinchella will be co-hosting this session, so you’ll see a friendly and familiar face.
