Antigua Forest School
Yesterday the children in Antigua class had their first session at Forest School since coming back after the Christmas break. We began the session by recapping our boundaries and then playing a game to warm us up. The children then had the opportunity to explore. Some of the children decided to help Mrs Fox build a shelter just in case it rained. Once we had built the shelter we looked at different types and worked out which one we had built. The children then spent the rest of the session playing in the shelter. Some other children were practising on the slack line. They learnt to help each other rather then needing an adult to help them. Some of the children started off a bit wobbly, however by showing great perseverance and confidence they quickly became more sturdy on it and were very excited when they made it all the way across without the help from an adult.
