In Science this term the children in year 3 are learning about light. So far they have learned that light is a kind of energy called electromagnetic (EM) radiation and investigated whether objects are luminous or non-luminous. They carried out an experiment to discover if/ how light travels and looked at how light reflects off different surfaces. They have also been making predictions and recording their findings in tables just like real scientists. The children have had lots of fun as well as learning lots of scientific facts and skills.
