Barbados class start school

What a brilliant first week the children in Barbados class have had. They have all settled into their new environment, exploring the resources and taking turns. Friendships are beginning to form and they are working hard to follow the class rules. The outside area proved a HUGE hit and the children have been busy demonstrating their imaginations in the mud kitchen and role play area, their agility skills on our climbing frame and also their musical talents on our stage area. We have spent the week undertaking “getting to know you” activities, learning to recognise and write our names, demonstrating our mathematical skills and also exercising our vocal talents when singing nursery rhymes.

Myself and Mrs Cross are very much looking forward to the year ahead, being part of your learning journey and creating lots of memories along the way! We would also like to say a BIG thank you to all of the parents who have helped ensure a smooth transition for your child.
