Victorian artefacts

This afternoon, Singapore class had the opportunity to look at different Victorian artefacts. They had to work with their group to decide what it was and what is was used for. We had some very interesting ideas!

They thought the carpet beater was a tool for clearing cobwebs in your house, a tool for herding sheep or a whip for naughty children! They also thought the chimney sweep brush was a toilet brush!

They had a really enjoyable afternoon and were surprised by some of the artefacts.
