To celebrate science week the year one and year six children collaborated to explore whether all body parts grow as we get older. They measured arms, legs, feet, noses, ears and other body parts using tape measures and the year six children then recorded their findings in a table, enabling them to compare the measurements. They found that although most body parts do grow as we get older, some body parts do not grow by much, such as our heads, whereas our legs and arms seem to grow very quickly. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was lovely to see the children working together so brilliantly.
