Weekly Newsletter - 12/11/21- Important Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been another successful week in school this week. The children have been learning about Armistice Day and have created some beautiful work to remember and acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country. Next week is Anti-Bullying week which starts with Odd Socks Day. There’s a serious message behind the fun: let’s pull on odd socks to show we’re ALL unique and different, and let’s be kind to each other and respect each other’s individuality. Don’t forget to wear odd socks to school on Monday 15th November.

Further details will be sent out by Year Groups closer to time to share ticket information.

Healthy Snacks

We are encouraging the children to bring in a healthy snack to enjoy at break time. Having a healthy snack mid-morning can improve concentration and focus in lessons. It’s important that any snacks being brought into school are healthy and low in sugar and salt. Children should not be bringing in lollipops or sweets to school.

Some healthy snacks might include;

 ● a pot of dried fruit

● whole fruit – pots of grapes or cut up melon/pineapple

● a yoghurt

● low sugar cereal bar
