Reception Easter Activities

A few suggestions of things that you can do with your child in quiet moments over the holiday to help support their learning:

Practise writing your name - remember to form all those letters correctly.
Count from 0-20 and back. If that is too easy practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.

Go on a shape hunt and look for shapes around your house.

Read books and listen to stories. Reading opens up a wonderful world and inspires the imagination.

Make sure you can spell these helpful words, to use within your writing:
  • the
  • and
  • he
  • she
  • we
  • they
  • I
  • one
  • that
  • then
Have fun and if you have done something special remember to draw a picture and write about it.

Enjoy your Easter break and we look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday 30th April.
