Diary Dates

Monday 17th July-Our nursery children will be visiting Barleylands-This is their last day as nursery closes for this academic year.

Uganda Day-You should all have received letters about this. Our year 5 teacher Miss Pountney is spending 3 weeks of the summer holiday supporting an education project in Uganda. As a Federation we have agreed to help her with this venture through sponsorship, so we are holding a non-uniform day. Pupils are invited to wear colours associated with the Ugandan flag-Black/red/yellow and we will be collecting donations towards Miss Havelocks venture.

We have rescheduled UKS2 Sports Day and it will now take place this coming Monday morning, 17th July, starting at 9:30am. Hopefully the sun will shine!

Our parents meeting are to be held Monday afternoon/evening -Parents/Carers are invited into school between 15:30 and 19:00. If you wish to make an appointment to talk to your child’s class teacher please use the link on the blog to specify a suitable time.

Tuesday 18th July-Go Bonkers Day. All pupils will have the opportunity to bounce and will be given an ice cream/lolly. Some of our musicians will be taking exams on this day, others will be going off to The Olympic Stadium for the World Para athletics championship. Our year 6 pupils will be returning at the end of the day with parents /carers for World championship para

Wednesday 19th July-A small group of pupils will be attending The World Para athletics championships. Pupils will be meeting their new teacher in the afternoon. They will be dismissed into their usual playground by their new teacher so you can put a face to the name. Year 6 will be kept busy as they will be taking part in a staff v. year 6 football game. Year 6 pupils will remain in school until 17:00 for a KFC party. Parents are invited to collect them as they will be releasing balloons and there will be an opportunity to take photos.

Friday 21st July school finishes for the summer holidays at the normal time 15:00 for KS1/EYFS pupils and 15:10 for KS2 pupils.
