Year 2 had the opportunity to cook on a camp fire, with Mrs Shorter. We learnt about how to make a fire, how to enter and exit the area safely and most importantly how to toast marshmallows.
While half of each class toasted their marshmallows the other half worked as a team to build Ti-pee and waffle piles, that could be used to start a fire.
Some of us were a little scared of the fire, but we all gave it a go. Our toasted marshmallows tasted delicious on chocolate and plain biscuits.
