In history we have been learning about Florence Nightingale and the important role she played in saving soldiers who were injured in the Crimean war. We discussed how nursing has changed over the years and the important role nurses have in our society. We discussed that nurses need to be organised, clean, kind, patient and hard working. We learned that Florence set up a school to teach people how to be nurses. We acted out the different ways Florence Nightingale helped the soldiers and improved hospitals.
