Mastering Number in Year 2

We have maths mastery sessions every day in Year 2.  The activites have been deepening the children's understanding of the composition of numbers to 20.  This week the children have been doubling and halving using the Rekenrek and their hands. They have also been able to draw on their knowledge of 5 and a bit to solve the harder doubles quickly.
