In year 5 art, the children have explored the process of making monotypes.
First they learned about an artist who uses monotypes to build sculptures and installations.
Then they embarked on a project which gave them the opportunity to use the monotype process (combined with painting and collage) to make an illustration inspired by the book The Snowman by Raymond Briggs.
