Today at forest school we hunted for colours in nature and created a nature colour wheel. Then we made our own paints and paint brushes. Some used leaves, other feathers and some used a stick as a paintbrush. A variety of colours were made using mud, charcoal, chalk and berries. It was a great afternoon of experimenting, some were pleased with their results and for others it didn’t turn out as they hoped. Year 3 really entered into this opportunity and were brave to try a range of ideas. We finished up with a time of reflection.
Well done Year 3!
