Weekly Newsletter- 20th September 2019

Dear Parents,

It is lovely to walk around the school and see everyone settled and working hard. Some of our nursery children started this week and are already well settled into the Mead routine. We are very much looking forward to welcoming others on Monday and Wednesday next week.

As parents you are role models for your children so please refrain from swearing or behaving inappropriately in our playground. We are happy to help resolve problems related to school if you come into the school reception.

On behalf of the staff and Governors I would like to thank Mrs Ozlem Colak for supporting the school in the role of Parent Governor for the past few years. Unfortunately Mrs Colak has resigned due to other commitments so we would welcome volunteers to take on the role. If you are interested please contact Mrs Smith before next Friday 27th September.

URGENT
Please ensure that your child's Individual Asthma Action Plan has been returned to school with their inhaler, and spacer if required. Please also check that the inhaler is still within date. If your child requires an inhaler at school and you have not received the Asthma Plan letter, please enquire at the school office or ask your child's teacher to get one for you.

As a school, we recognise that asthma is a widespread, serious, but controllable condition. Mead School welcomes all pupils with asthma and aims to support these children in participating fully in school life.
