Duxford Trip

Year six had a fantastic time at Duxford yesterday. We made our own documentaries for Smash Box TV, sat aboard concord and even met John who was a child during the War. He told us both scary and astounding stories about his childhood - hiding in Anderson shelters - and about his life later on in the RAF.

'Meeting 82 year old John was incredible but I don't like the sound of Bread and dripping or Tripe and onions for dinner!' Brooke from Chile.

'I can't believe how small the gap to the shelter was - I would be terrified if I had to crawl in there and hide for hours!' Jan from Brazil.

As usual the children were extremely well behaved and every adult that we met commented on what a good group of children we had! Well done Year Six!
