Weekly Newsletter- 9th November 2018

Dear Parents,

Firstly on behalf of everyone I would like to thank the LFPA for the fantastic firework display they organised at Broadford last Friday. I am reliably informed that around 1800 people from the local community attended, myself included, and we were treated to a very special evening. Events such as this take a lot of time and effort and all this is given for free, so once again thank you to everyone involved.

Thank you also to all parents and carers who attended our remembrance service this morning.Every child in school contributed to the display you saw at the entrance to the school site and if you’ve already seen the video posted on our facebook page you’ll be very aware of the fantastic team spirit there is amongst Mead staff (who all got up extra early this morning to create the wonderful display).

I have been asked by a few parents to remind everyone that it is not acceptable to swear around our children in the playground and please be mindful of others when walking into and out of school -the paths are quite narrow and we really don’t want any accidents.

Please ensure you let us know of any change of contact details. On a couple of occasions this week we have tried to contact parents only to find out that they have changed their mobile numbers but not advised us.
