in Barbados Class
What a fun packed first week the children of Barbados class
have had! They are all beginning to settle into their new surroundings, making
friends and showing their individual personalities.
The children have been busy exploring their new environment
and engaging in all areas of their classroom. They are beginning to adjust to
their new routines and have thoroughly enjoyed starting our sessions with our
5-a-day programme. There has been a range of models built from houses to ships
in the construction area. The creative area has been busy with children creating
members of their families and our snack table appears very popular with lots of
children eager to eat their healthy snack “I
like bananas” said Vlad.
To end our first week at school, we went to visit our farm.
There was lots of excited children as the animals came into view. “The bunnies are very cute” said
Amaliah, “Look, he is washing his head”
said Samuel. We saw all of the wonderful animals and even stroked some of them.
It has been lovely getting to know the children so far and
watching them embark on their reception journey. "My
favourite bit about school is the tree house” said Harrison, “I’ve liked playing with the lego” said
Eduard and “I’ve enjoyed the outside area”
said Scarlett.
Have a lovely weekend and we look foward to seeing you all on Monday.
