What must life have been like
for a Roman Legionary serving in the cold North of England?
It was certainly not made any better by having to venture beyond the protection of the
wall.

children in year 4 were able to join Gaius as he arrived for his new posting at Hadrian's
Wall during an interactive theatre in education piece that involved the
children in discussion with the actors to further their understanding and
enjoyment of their Roman study.
"It was really educational and we learned stuff that we never knew before!" Stated Bobby.
Fran exclaimed, "It was really fun and interesting."
