Weekly Newsletter
20th October 2017
Dear Parents,
Thank you to all of the parents who attended parents evening, we hope that you found the pupil passports informative. The feedback from the surveys was overwhelmingly positive, thank you for letting us know what we are doing well and what we can do better. If you haven’t had the chance to complete a survey yet you can login in at home and complete the questions online at the Parent View website.
Sorry to begin with negatives but I need to make you aware of some points that have been raised this week.
We have high expectations of our pupils at Mead which are reflected in our values, can I ask that parents are also respectful while on the school site and refrain from using foul language in front of each other and our pupils please.
We are fortunate in that our neighbours are very accommodating and we rarely get complaints, however we have been asked to request that litter is disposed of in bins or taken home rather than on the streets around the school. I am advised that someone is regularly leaving soiled nappies on the pavement outside our school which is unacceptable.
Congratulations - Miss Silk is getting married!
I am sure you will all join me in wishing Miss Silk and her fiance all the best for their upcoming wedding. We hope that they both enjoy their wonderful wedding day and a very happy life together. Congratulations!
