Reception Parents/Carers
Today you may have seen we sent home some
letter formation sheets in your child’s book bags (m,a,s,d), each week we
will be sending home the new sounds which
the children have been learning. Please could you encourage and help your child to practise their
letter formation as this will reinforce the sounds learnt, encouraging them to
accurately form their letters as well as developing their fine motor skills. Each
sound has an accompanying rhyme which is shared with your child to help them
recall their letter sounds. It will also be a fantastic opportunity for your
child to share with you their learning and allow you to see their progress!
