Weekly Newsletter - Important Information
Friday 13th December 2024
Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been wonderful to see so many of you in school over the last week enjoying the Christmas performances. The children have done a fantastic job sharing the importance of Christmas and reminding us of these significant events in the Christian calendar.
Next week is full to the brim with festive fun! While Father Christmas is unable to visit Mead ahead of Christmas day this year, he has arranged for some very special visitors to welcome the children into school at the end of the week.
Christmas at Mead
The Christmas countdown is on, and we have a week of festivities planned to celebrate the season!
Tuesday: Our Nursery children will have special Christmas visitors.
Wednesday: Whole School Christmas Assembly in the morning, followed by class parties in the afternoon.
Thursday: Christmas Dinner Day and Christmas Jumper Day! Children can wear their Christmas jumpers all week if they’d like.
Friday: Non-Uniform Day for all children, and Nursery will enjoy a Christmas Pyjama Day.
We are excited for the week ahead and know the children will have a very merry time!
Lost property
We currently have a large collection of lost property in school. To help parents and carers reclaim any lost items, the Dining Hall will be open after school on Wednesday for you to check and collect belongings. This includes coats, water bottles, and uniform items. Any items not collected after this day will be donated to the Friends of Mead for their pre-loved uniform sales.
