Yesterday the whole of Reception got to go out for Forest School. This was their first experience of fires. The fire was ready lit for them and we spoke about how to be safe around fire and the 'respect' position that we sit in when we are cooking on the fire.
The children then had the opportunity to toast marshmallows and turning them into Smores. We all had a great time and it was lovely to see the children enjoying a new experience.
