Weekly Newsletter - 17/06/22- Important Information

 

Dear Parents and Carers,

There have been lots of successes to celebrate this week and not just those in Reading, Writing and Maths that were shared in our Celebration Assembly. Children across the school joined in the Harold Hill Sports Day, hosted by Drapers Academy and came in third place. Year 4 participated in Quad Kids and Year 6 children participated in Sitting Volleyball. All of the children worked extremely hard and impressed us with their resilience. Well done!

Sunglasses and Sunscreen

Please ensure that your child does not bring sunglasses into school or wear on the top of their head as an accessory. If your child needs to wear sunglasses due to medical reasons please send in a note explaining the medical needs to the office. A sunhat can be worn at break and lunch time to shield the children from the sun. Sunscreen should be applied before school. Should your child have any additional medical needs relating to warmer weather, please ensure a member of staff is made aware.



Arriving Late

We have seen an increase in the number of children arriving late to school. It is really important that the children arrive on time so that they are ready to start the day with the rest of their class. If your child is late we ask that all parents now sign their children into school at the front office. Please make sure that you accompany your child to the front office and sign them in to school.



Parent Survey

Thank you to those who have completed the Parent Survey so far. Your views are really important to us and we would like to hear from as many parents as possible. Please click the link to complete the Annual Parent Survey. The survey will close on Monday 20th June at 9am. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Please see below for the sports day and times for each year group. Please ensure that all children have their full PE kit in school on these days. We look forward to seeing you there.
