Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you enjoyed a good summer and you are looking forward to the start of the school year. I hope this year will
be a more typical school year and one where we are able to offer our children an uninterrupted year; something they
have not had for the past 2 school years.
Below are some reminders and important information that you should be aware of.
Uniform and stationary
Children must be wearing the correct uniform and should not bring in any stationary from home. Please also note that fidget spinners are not permitted in school unless issued by our SENDCO, Miss Calitz.
Y2 parents - Start/End of day procedures
In the mornings, Y2 children should come into school via the Y1 door between 8-30 and 8-40. At the end of the day, Y2 children will be released by staff from the KS2 playground. We are unable to release the Y2 children from the
Y1 door as it will be too congested (this is not the case in the morning as there is a more flexible arrival time). This arrangement is only until the building work is completed.
Y3 parents - School Dinner reminder
Please remember, school lunches must be paid in advance via Squid as the government funding of free school lunches finishes when children leave Y2. However, Pupil Premium children will continue to receive free meals.
ABACUS Breakfast Club
Application forms will be available via the ABACUS breakfast club each morning or from the school office. Parentswhose children are eligible for Pupil Premium funding may request that their fees are funded by the school.
The breakfast club is located in the Dinner Hall via the KS2 playground. Parents must escort their child to the door for each session.

● Facemasks for adults on the school premises is optional, but very much permitted if you wish.
● We will continue to operate the one way system in both playgrounds as it works well.
● School will remain open for lessons on Friday afternoons.
● Bubbles will not be in place. Children and staff will be able to mix (e.g. assembly, playground).
● ABACUS Breakfast Club will start (see the office for an application form).
