Year Three Pilot Visit

Last week, the year threes were treated to a talk by pilot Emma Gauntlett from EasyJet. The pilot showed the class the exciting experiences and challenges that come with working as a pilot for a commercial airline, as well as the thrills of flying military grade aircraft!

Ms Gauntlett was very impressed by our children's knowledge of forces, and answered the many questions our children had about working in such a challenging, exciting job. Afterwards, the children were challenged to a paper plane competition. Congratulations to winners Joe, Austeja and Luke, whose planes flew the farthest, and Taylor for helping so many students with their plane design!
