Weekly Newsletter - Important Information

Friday 28th March 2025

Dear parents and Carers,

It has been a busy penultimate week of the Spring term here at Mead. We have had pupils from year  5 and 6 competing in the tag rugby finals. Well done to team A for winning the tag rugby tournament, who will now represent Havering in the London Youth games, and to the B team who finished 3rd place in their competition. On Wednesday our year 2 football team finished 3rd in their league against other Havering schools. We have also had a fantastic History workshop for year 5 this week, which has brought their Victorian topic to life.

Thank you to our Friends Of Mead School parents association,  for holding the Mother’s day and special person sale this week, and to all of you who contributed to making it a success for our school, and those lucky people receiving gifts this Sunday.

With one week to go until Easter, we look forward to what we have in store in the lead up to Easter. It is a busy week, so please take note of the dates and events below.
