Yesterday, Italy class modelled the digestive system using everyday equipment to represent the parts of the body. They had to:
- Tear the food (into the bowl)
with your hands to represent the incisors.
- Mash the food with the
cutlery/utensils to represent the molars - add a small bit of water for
the saliva.
- Add your drink and chew some
more.
- Transfer the food to the
plastic bag, which is our stomach, and add the vinegar.
- Now it’s time to churn your
stomach contents.
- Now the intestines - pour the
food into the tights and squeeze out all the nutrients.
- Cut a hole in the bottom and
release the poo!
