It was a chilly afternoon for New Zealand Class’
last forest school today. Despite the weather we thought about caterpillars
and butterflies, which should be appearing soon if the weather ever warms up. There
was lots of leaf munching with hole punches like caterpillars, hollowing and
threading elder pieces to make caterpillars and butterflies to decorate. Also
the children enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen, the hammock and the balance
beam.
