Year 3 - Forest School - Week 3

This group of Year 3’s are highly motivated to follow their own learning ideas. Today we made an ‘A’ frame ladder using green wood (freshly cut). We looked closely at sticks and noticed the details on them, we found y shaped sticks, one like a pick axe, plenty that were great for digging and a twisted stick. We spent time in the hanging cave and finished off with some forest bathing. The children described forest bathing as relaxing and asked if we could do it again.
