Weekly Newsletter -18th January 2019



Dear Parents,

Diary Dates
Monday 21st January- Some of our year 4 pupils will be attending a Mary Poppins session at Brookside Junior school

Wednesday 23rd January 10:00-1:00 Chile class, 14:00-15:00 Germany class at Jump Evolution in recognition of their 100% attendance last week. During the afternoon some of our Year 3 pupils will be attending a Forest school session, meanwhile Year 2 Spinebreakers are going to Hilldene Library

Thursday 24th January- Charlie Wilson will be leading a storytelling workshop for our reception pupils. After school some of our KS2 pupils will be attending Music Junction workshops at Draper’s academy.

Friday 25th January Reception parents/carers are invited into school between 8:30 and 9:00 for a reading session with their children.

Havering Catering Services
Week beginning 21st January is week 2 on the havering catering Services menu. All meals are served with unlimited salad and vegetables and cost £2.20.
Please be reminded to top up your child’s catering account as we cannot provide dinners for pupils whose accounts exceed a debt of £10.


Attendance
Well done to Chile class who had the highest attendance in Y5&6 at 97.5% . Greece had the highest attendance in LKS2 and at 97.5% and Egypt had the highest attendance in KS1 and overall at 98.1% . Well done to them!. The overall attendance was 95.1% which is just below our target.
