Weekly Newsletter - 21/10/22
Dear Parents and Carers,
Our first half term of the school year has flown by and the children have well and truly settled back into school life. They have been living out our school values by being resilient and reflective learners, taking responsibility and showing respect. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Tuesday 1st November. We hope that you have an enjoyable half term!
Harvest Appeal
Thank you for your donations toward our Harvest Appeal this week. The children learnt about where food comes from and the process in which it goes through to be ready to eat. They sang songs and reflected on how we can show gratitude towards those who provide and prepare food for us. We talked about the work of The Trussell Trust and how, as a school, we will continue to support the Food Bank throughout this year. We are very aware of the rising cost of living and the challenges facing many families. We are able to provide food bank vouchers should any families need support. Please speak in confidence to Mrs Kinchella.
Parent Hub
A huge thank you to the Parent Hub and school staff for all of their hard work and dedication in ensuring that the Movie night was successful this week. All of the money raised will go towards supporting school activities. The next event is the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 26th November. If you would like to get involved please come along to the next meeting on
Parking
We have been receiving complaints from local residents about parent parking and blocking driveways almost daily. Every time this happens, it takes a member of staff away from supporting the children in school. When we return to school after half term please be considerate and think about how and where you are parking. You may only park for a short time but this causes inconvenience to the neighbours and to our school staff. Thank you for your understanding.

Play Equipment
Please be reminded that the play equipment in the KS2 playground is used before and after school at your own risk. Children should always be supervised by a parent or carer.
