Dear Parents and Carers,
This week our focus has been on Pupil Voice. We were delighted to hold the very first meeting of our new Pupil Parliament, with children elected by their classmates to represent them.
At the meeting, the children shared their ideas for our charity of choice this year. There was a resounding response in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital, a cause very close to many of our community’s hearts. The Pupil Parliament will be working alongside Miss Callan to arrange fundraising events, and we will also be supporting Children in Need and Red Nose Day, as chosen by the children.
The children also gave thoughtful feedback on our behaviour policy, highlighting what they feel works well and where we could make small improvements. The voice of every child is so important, and we are really pleased that our new Pupil Parliament has had such a positive start.
